Stephanie's Bio and Research Description: Stephanie is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and M.S. student in Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She holds a B.S. degree in Biological Engineering from Purdue University. During her undergraduate career she participated in several research projects including the Indiana Soybean Innovation Competition and the Tanzania Counterfeit Drug Analysis Global Design Team. Stephanie is currently examining microalgal metabolism using lumped pathway metabolic modelling to better understand how mixed microalgal communities can be best utilized for nutrient recovery in wastewater.
